The Hit List #3

Never Had x Khori4 | St. Louis, MO

“Never Had” rapper, Khori⁴, is a St. Louis native that has a future that’s just as promising as the “St. Lunatics” that came before him. “Never Had” is the sixth track on his freshman project, “Paradox” which is now available on Soundcloud and Apple Music. Keep up with Khori on Twitter, and stay tuned for the release of his upcoming LP.

#BassYeah x PETTY | Nashville, TN

#BassYeah is a lively upbeat song with a heavy jazz and blues influence. Straight out of the 615, PETTY shows us that he is a diverse artist by his ever changing flow throughout the song. Comparable to the iconic duo Outkast, PETTY is definitely someone you need to watch out for.

Wassup Now x KillAUrk | Houston, TX

In true H-town fashion, KillAUrk takes “Chill Bill” to the next level with his rendition, “Wassup Now.” Not completely chopped and screwed, KillAUrk slows down the beat to a smooth, laid-back vibe. Though both artists respectively do their thing, something about this version just rides.

Hour Glass x Coke the Coole$t & Anonymous | Auburn, AL

Alpha Phi Alpha brother Coke the Coole$t teams up with his line brother Anonymous [Chuck] for this track. Known for his signature black and white freestyle videos while rapping in bowties and blazers, Coke stays true to hisself in “Hour Glass.” His lyrics are never too explicit, and the message is always positive. Follow Coke on Instagram to keep up with his weekly freestyle videos.

#AllLivesMatter x AARPortis | Montgomery, AL

DISCLAIMER: This song is a parody. AARPortis is actually a theater student at Alabama State University in Montgomery. “#AllLivesMatter” comes from her sophomore mixtape, “Sorry I Was Crabbin’.” All of the songs are obviously parodies, but underneath all the humor this song has a brutally honest message.

Until next time…
